Espresso Martini
1 1/2 measures vodka
1 measure coffee liquor
1 measure fresh espresso coffee
1/2 measure sugar syrup
Serve in a chilled martini glass
Garnish: 3 coffee beans
How to make: Add all the ingredients to a shaker, shake vigorously and double strain into a chilled martini glass
El Diablo
1 1/2 measures gold tequila
3/4 measure lime juice
1/2 measure creme de cassis
Ginger ale to top
Serve in a highball glass
Garnish: lime wheel
How to make: Fill a highball glass with ice and add first three ingredients, stir briefly then top up with ginger ale.
Earl's Punch
4 measures gin
6 measures cold earl grey tea
6 measures grapefruit juice
5 measures sugar syrup
soda water to top
Serve in a chilled highball glass
Garnish: pink grapefruit slices and rosemary sprigs
How to make: Fill a jug with cubed ice and add all the ingredients. Stir well then top with soda water.
English Garden Fizz
2 measures gin
2 measures apple juice
3/4 measure lemon juice
1/2 measure elderflower cordial
soda water to top
Serve in a highball glass
Garnish: cucumber slices and lemon slice
How to make: Add all the ingredients to a shaker and shake briefly. Strain the contents into a highball glass filled with cubed ice, top up with the soda water.
Egg Nog
2 measures aged rum
3/4 measure sugar syrup
1 egg
3 measures whole milk
3 measures single cream
Serve in a chilled wine glass
Garnish: cinnamon stick and ground nutmeg
How to make: add all the ingredients to the shaker and shake vigorously and strain into a chilled wine glass filled with cubed ice.
